Eden Project occupation character illustration
A selection of five of the fifteen little character illustrations
I did showing a number of the different occupations at the Eden Project. This was for an internal poster to do with occupational health that staff would see, entitled Health
and Wellbeing.

Eden Project Forest Garden temporary signs
These three temporary signs I designed are to explain what the Forest Garden is all about. They'll be replaced as soon as the permanent sign design has been chosen and then installed.

Money raised will to go towards The Rainforest Experience, a major new development at the Eden Project that will give visitors the opportunity to see the rainforest from a different perspective.

Eden Project Design Team internal brochure
Since December 2010 I have been working as part of the design team at the Eden Project. Its just two days a week and a new departure for me, but I'm very much keeping my publishing design hat on. We were all asked to come up with a little piece of work to go into a small internal brochure that could be used to show the wider Eden teams who we are, a face to the name (I did another version with my photo on it but didn't think I'd use it here!).

Big Book of Dinosaurs (1), The Book Studio
I start a project by creating idea worksheets for myself, just quick scribbles exploring various ideas and concepts. However, when possible, I like to make these a little more finished, similar to those shown here, so I can present them to the publisher before we decide on a definite design.
1. One of my initial cover ideas worksheets.
2. One of my worksheets showing two slightly more finished cover designs.
3. Final cover design pencil, I worked up to be used to brief the illustrator.
4. Final printed cover.
